From September 1, the number of public transport routes will be increased

“Rīgas satiksme” informs that, in anticipation of an increase in passenger traffic, changes will be made to public transport timetables on working days from September 1 and weekends from  September 4. The total number of public transport routes will be increased by 1,044 routes on weekdays and by 782 routes on weekends. Also, from September 1, bus routes 4z, 35, 38, 59, and tram routes 3 and 9 will be restored on working days, while bus routes 38, 57, 59 and trolleybus routes 11, 12, 13 on weekends.

From September 1, there are changes in the following timetables on working days:

Buses

1.1a.4.4z.5.7.8.9.10.11.12.13.14.16., 18.20.21.22.23.25.26.29.,

30.32.35.36.37.38.41.43.51.52.53.54.56.58.59. bus rotes

Trams

1.2.3.5.7.9.10.11. tram rotes

 

Trolleybuses

3.4.5.9.11.12.13.14.16.17.18.19.22.23.25.27. trolleybuss rotes

 

 From September 4, there are changes in the following timetables on weekends:

Trams

1.5.7.10.11. tram rotes

 

Trolleybuses

With the end of the beach and recreational season from September 1, the bus route 30 will run only on working days, the bus route 29 will run on the route „Mežciems–Vecmīlgrāvis”, while the bus route 58 will run on the route „Brīvības gatve–Vecmīlgrāvis”.

Express bus routes 304 and 338 will be restored on working days from September 1.
